Wonda is a VR learning and collaboration platform that allows anyone to easily edit, share, and access immersive learning and collaboration experiences based on 2D, 3D, and 360° media, all of which is accessible using any device: Virtual Reality Head-Mounted Displays (VR HMDs), Mobile Phones, Tablets, or a PC.

Wonda is composed of three levels: an Organizational Hub, a Team Space, and a Virtual Experience.

ORGANIZATIONAL HUB: This is where you and any other members of your organization’s Hub can access and manage all the Team Spaces and Virtual Experiences that have been created within your organization.

The Hub is the main point of entry to access, edit, and share experiences using Wonda. The Hub gives you a bird’s eye view of what’s happening within your organization.

When you use Wonda, your default Organizational Hub is the Immersive Lab Hub. Any Virtual Experience you create within your Team Space are private by default, but feel free to publicly share and discover new experiences within the Wonda community.

If you are an Enterprise or University interested in starting your own branded organizational hub, that can be arranged as well.

TEAM SPACE: Within your Organizational Hub are multiple Team Spaces, where users can create and collaborate together on any immersive experience.

In every Team Space, users can create and manage as many Virtual Experiences as they wish and invite other participants to join. By default, a Team Space is private and can only be viewed and co-edited by participants who have been invited to do so.

All media assets used in any of the Virtual Experiences are shared by default with every other participant of the Team Space -- this includes any 2D, 3D, and/or 360° media.

VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE: Within every Team Space are Virtual Experiences that are created using the Wonda Editor.

Experiences are real-time, multi-user 3D environments where you can meet spatially with others, give presentations, and even jump into immersive 360° media. The editor works as a web-based authoring tool which allows you to seamlessly add interactive annotations and quizzes on top of any 2D, 3D, 360° media or audio content. You can easily access all these features in the editor to create simple experiences (e.g., slideshows) or more complex gamified experiences (e.g., role playing games, simulation-based activities, etc).

Every Virtual Experience can be shared using the multiplayer mode (synchronously) or using the single player mode (asynchronously). In addition, these Experiences can be embedded into any webpage and accessible with any device (Desktop PC, VR HMD and/or Mobile/Tablets).

About Multiplayer Sessions

Similar to a Skype or Zoom video call, a Multiplayer Session in Wonda allows you to connect and chat in real-time with up to 25 participants in an immersive 3D environment. Instead of passively staring at a face on a flat screen, you can actively control an avatar in a shared 3D environment.

You can organize Multiplayer Sessions around any experience or activity you designed by inviting participants to join with a simple URL that is accessible in the editor. There is no need for anyone to download any apps -- just simply copy and paste the link in any calendar app or messaging system (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, email).

Once logged-in to a Multiplayer Session, every participant can quickly create their own avatars and start synchronously interacting with each other in the 3D Room in which every session takes place. Participants can access this Multiplayer Session through a VR headset, a mobile device, or a desktop computer.
