By using LTI, users who log in to your LMS are automatically logged in Wonda.

This allows:

  • to identify users and generate session analytics reports without asking users to log twice (both in your LMS and in Wonda)

  • to transfer completion and scoring information automatically from Wonda into your LMS (learn more about scoring here)

Enable LTI in Wonda

1. Open your hub settings in the top right corner (available for admins only)

2. Go to Integrations Tab and Select LTI, then enable the LTI for your Hub.

3. Here you can find all the LTI Configuration parameters (Consumer Key, Secret, URL, etc). Select the LTI version you want to use (1.1 or 1.3) and open your Moodle settings in another tab.

Add Wonda as an External Tool in Moodle

System Admin Configuration

  1. Go to “Site Administration” → “Plugins” → External ToolsManage Tools

  2. Click on “Configure a tool manually.“ (Fast configuration via Config URL is not yet available)

  3. As tool name enter Wonda.

  4. As LTI Version pick the version you want to integrate:

    1. LTI 1.3 (recommended)

      1. Fill the Tool URL, Public keyset, Initiate login URL, Redirection URI(s), their values can be found in the hub integration settings in Wonda

      2. Select New Window as Default launch container

      3. Enable support for Deep Linking, the Content Selection URL can be found in the hub integration settings in Wonda

    2. LTI 1.0/1.1 (legacy)

      1. Enter your LTI Consumer Key and Consumer Secret, their values can be found in the hub integration settings in Wonda

      2. Select New Window as Default launch container

      3. Enable support for Deep Linking, as Content Selection URL, enter https://crud.spaces.wondavr.com/api/lti/selection

  5. (Optional) To assign the Wonda logo to your tool unfold the Show More option and fill the icon url field with the following url: https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/639d055b8005921769e6c34a/666bf87ca9368db11f892983_Wonda_Logo_512.png

  6. In the Services section, set IMS LTI Assignment and Grade Services to Use this service for grade sync and column management

  7. In the Privacy section, set Share launcher's name with tool and Share launcher's name with tool to Always

  8. Save your changes

Update Moodle identifiers in Wonda (LTI 1.3 only)

  2. Go back to the Integrations settings in Wonda, to the Your Platform Info section

    1. Fill in the platform information given by Moodle

    2. Click Save, the tool provider is ready to use

Configuring Wonda as a tool

Go to a Moodle Course page and open the LTI external tools menu.

Adding a Wonda Experience to your Course

  1. In a Course, click “Add an activity or resource“, the pick “External Tools“

  2. In the preconfigured tool field, select Wonda. You can check the star to add Wonda to your favorite tools.

  3. Click Select Content underneath and pick the Wonda Experience you want to integrate in the popup that just appeared.

  4. The Activity name and tool URL should automatically fill with the selected Experience Information.

  5. In the Grade section of the Activity settings, enable Allow Wonda to add grades in the grade book

Testing your LTI integration

To test the integration is working properly:
- Make sure you are logged out of Wonda (important)
- Open your Moodle Course and connect using your Moodle Credentials
- Launch the Wonda experiences
- Then, in Wonda, go to Analytics, and check the Experiences Session Logs to confirm your session has been properly tracked with your Moodle User ID

If you set the scoring or the completion in your experience (see Quiz & Scoring options) you will now see the grade for each student in the Grades tab of Moodle:
