Create advanced scenarios and link experiences together

There are three kind of links in Wonda:

Each of these links allow users to move from one place to another one, in Single player or Multiplayer mode. Links can be setup on all basic annotations (image, text, hotspot) in the "Actions" Panel.

Select one of the link depending on your use case: branching scenario, non-linear story, lobby room to access different Break-Out Sessions, link to a Zoom video call, ...

......................................

Link to a new Scene

  • In a Single player Session, any user will open a new scene by clicking on the link

  • In a Multiplayer Session, only Presenters can trigger a link to a new scene

Good to know: Check the "seek to current timecode" option to jump from a video scene to another video scene and keep the user's current timecode. Useful for multi-camera experiences.

Link to an Experience

You can create links between different Experiences (e.g you want to create a lobby and link from the lobby to different break-out sessions).

  • In a Single player Session, any user can open a new experience by clicking on the link

  • In a Multiplayer Session, both Presenters and Learners can trigger a link to a new experience.

  • Besides, when a Presenter triggers a link, it will also notify all the other participants that the Presenter has left the experience and invite them to follow along (see below).

......................................

Link to an external Website

  • In a Single player Session, all users can open web links

  • In a Multiplayer Session, both Presenters and Learners can trigger a link to a new Web Site.

Tip: By default, the option "open in a new tab" is ticked automatically when adding a web link. Yet, if you choose to link to a video conference (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams etc.), we recommend to untick that option (i.e. open in same tab) to avoid audio conflicts between Wonda and the video conferencing solution you are using.
